Consulting Services
LIT Consulting works with non-profits, government, academic institutions, foundations and other institutions to assess and understand systems of oppression, diversity and inclusion both within and outside of the workplace, and to craft strategies to co-create new ways of thinking and working towards equity.
I draw upon over 12 years of experience in the non-profit sector in social services, counseling/mental health, youth development, organizing, public policy, community engagement and civic engagement. Prior to founding LIT Consulting, I served for 5 years as Director of Programs of a $10 million non-profit organization, overseeing local and national work. Nationally I drove our national policy work, research, and capacity building programs for non-profit organizations across the country. Locally I oversaw a $2 million portfolio of programs in youth development, family supportive services, civic engagement, public health, chemical health, and domestic violence. I have also served as an advisor on projects to Mayor Coleman of St. Paul, MN, Mayor Hodges of Minneapolis, St. Paul Police Chief Tom Smith, the MN Council on Foundations, have been a part of local and national coalitions, and more.
The scope and size of my consulting projects varies based upon the needs of the client. Below are some examples of the content areas I provide consulting in:
  • Diversity
